Honda Fit view

Vehicle recall is not a new thing in auto market, and several prominent auto makers have recalled some of their models over some unintentional technical flaws. The latest recall happening is of 2009-’10 Honda Fit. As per the news coming in, Honda motors will be recalling around 97,201 2009-’10 Honda Fit from US automotive market because of its faulty spring part, which could lead to engine stall. The recall is part of Honda’s global recall of around 700,000 models of their Honda Fit, City and Freed compact cars.

Speaking on the recall Honda said that they are recalling the Honda Fit from US market for replacing the faulty lost-motion springs, components inside the engine valvetrain. According to reports from Honda, the lost-motion springs, inside the engine valveterain are compressed by rocker arms in normal engine use and it sometime can break or bend, which further could result in unusual engine noise and potentially causing engine stalling or even engine damage.
